My Background

I started at Rocket Mortgage in 2018, quickly becoming a top producer and eventually Director of Mortgage Banking. Over five years, I led high-volume consumer-direct teams and saw firsthand how fragmented systems slowed even the best LOs down.

Near the end of my tenure, I began building internal tools to make my teams more efficient. Those tools spread quickly — eventually being adopted across the organization.

The Turning Point

When I began speaking with lenders outside Rocket, it became clear the problems I was solving internally were even more severe across the industry.

Most lenders were working leads out of disconnected systems — CRM in one place, dialer in another, LOS notes somewhere else, and spreadsheets holding everything together. Speed-to-lead suffered. Follow-up was inconsistent. Borrower context was scattered. Managers lacked real-time visibility.

The more conversations I had, the clearer it became:
no existing stack was designed for how modern mortgage sales actually operate.

CRMs weren't built for high-volume consumer-direct.
Dialers weren't connected to real lead workflows.
LOS add-ons couldn't keep data accurate or actionable.
And none of it worked together in real time.

It became obvious that patching legacy systems wasn't enough. The industry didn't need another integration — it needed a unified system built around speed, clarity, and execution.

That's when I left to build Gizmo full-time.
